Seems its gone. Website no longer has anything. Online rumour said they were closing all actual stores 5pm on Friday. More stores are being reported as closed. I wonder what they did with the games that they didn't reduce. I would have liked some.

I know right, the games they still had were probably given to employees or thrown out (which would be a disgrace).

I doubt they would throw them out. If they were wortless to them why didn't they price drop them? Kirby's epic yarn for example was 50$ ( I was tempted to buy buy it) if they dropped it to 40$ they could have made more back then trashing it.

You never know, apparently here in the states retailers throw out a bunch of shit that's perfectly fine.

Well we do have some strange electronic shops here. Which I forgot about.
few years ago we bought a 2 pack of cordless phones one phone wouldn't charge. Took it back to get a new battery. Hoping it would be a simple swap.
Sorry you need to return the whole box with everything. Took it back but actually left a phone cable in the box that was ours. Went back a hour later to get it oh you where lucky the rubbish truck was about 10mins away. So it would have been crushed. So yeah they chucked out a perfectly good phone bundle thing just because one battery didn't work. (we did try the working battery in the phone and it worked.) They could have given us the working phone. Or said 10$ and its yours but decided to chuck it instead.

Well I'm thinking about doing a pre order this time for the 3ds XL.
I already have a 3ds but I kinda like the look of the bigger version.
So reading wp. I found that a department store has a special 3ds XL offer.
Nintendo 3DS XL With Rayman Origins + Ghost Recon Shadow Wars or Nintendo 3DS XL With Rayman Origins + Combat of Giants Dinosaurs 3D either offer is 259$.
Rayman Origins retails for about 55$. Ghost recon and the combat of giant dinosaurs is about 20$. Not really sure I want any of the games. I guess I could offer the games on eBay. Or see what trade in value I could get but it wouldn't be that much.

I'm interested in the 3DS XL as well, I may look into getting one, but I'll have to see.

I will get one it really just depends when. The regular 3ds is too small for my hands and I constantly hit the sound slider (which I think is broken/lose anyway) so it will be all quiet then full blast. So I'm hoping this wont be a problem with the new one. Still not sure who's smart idea was to put it where they did the ds lite spot was great.
Also kinda hoping they gave it a internal upgrade as the wireless in the normal 3ds is pretty poor.
Kinda really wonder about the people who said the 3ds would get smaller and not bigger.

I'm puzzled on what to do. I guess I should wait and get the 3dsxl with a game I want (new super mario bros 2) or a cheaper price. As I can't really justify paying 259$ for one and 2 games that I'll most likely never play. <280$ with new super mario bros 2 id take it. I kinda doubt that there will be any offers like that until October. Game/Toy sales have all ended until then.
