So as some of you know my computer blew up last week or the week before even I can't remember now lol. Wall of text time.
So I ordered a new one from a online shop.
Now facts are when my city and state flooded (state was 75% was underwater) in January the shop had water up to the ceiling so lost alot of stock. I will find the picture and post it.
Now back to my story.
I checked what parts I wanted all said they were in stock lowest stock they had was <5. This was like Wednesday.
Order is as follows
Intel Core i7 2600 Processor LGA1155 3.4GHz CPU $350 stock >10
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus $29 stock >10
Asus P8P67-M Pro V3 $185 stock >10
Kingston 8G(2x4G) DDR3 $114 stock >5
Western Digital 500G HDD $42 stock >10
Asus ENGTX550 1GB 181 stock >5
Pioneer SATA DVR219L 24X DVD $26 stock >10
Antec Nine Hundred Two Ver3.0 $137 stock <5
Antec ATX TruePower 750W $153 stock >10
Microsoft Windows 7 Pro 64bit OEM $142 stock >10
Three Year On site warranty(for $0-$3000) $82
Computer System $80
The stock numbers above were taken 6 hours ago.
Wednesday I get a reply asking for a 100$ deposit. So yeah I do that I ended up paying the remaining balance that day as well.
Thursday I get a message saying "Computer system" out of stock.
Now Computer System is what they call building.
Friday I put a message on a local tech forum that has a thread about the shop already there so I put on a message saying what do they mean by "Computer system out of stock." Then I logged out etc.
A hour later I go to check emails the pc shop sent me a email telling me nothing in my order was in stock at all. No estimated time either.
So they couldn't be bothered telling me it was out of stock. On Wednesday nothing. Thursday they seemed to tell me in a cryptic way.
While I do understand they are in a bit of a bad spot but considering some of the parts I wanted didn't come out till early march though.
Note back in 2009 I had problems with them 700$ worth of stuff I ordered was given to some guy called "Barry" I was never told who this Barry person was. Either a person at the computer shop who signs for stuff or some random guy.
Problem happened because the too address was smaller then the from address. I got it and thought hmm seems they sent it to them-self.
So your thoughts if this whole saga to you would be ok? Well they were flooded. or be crabby? It's been nearly 3 months now stupid shop!
Thanks
penguin
So here is a picture of how high the water got too. This is also their warehouse.
