I went into windows safe mode and it displayed fine as well as on the bios screen with out the dots and weirdness. I reinstalled the driver for the 20th time this week and restarted and it stayed fine. So I don't think the card itself was at fault could have been though.
I'll fill in the warranty card and get the 3rd party fixers that I paid for to come look at it. 3 hour onsite support for 3 years for 80$ which includes any part replacements. As long as it doesn't get surged or someone spill water on it its covered.

I've never used skype before. Apparently it does become meh at times here. Though vent was just as bad for me. So I guess I can try it. You have to learn mind reading as I wont talk on it as I sound girly.
My computer is being a nubcake and needs a new video card so people are telling me. I'm getting a call from a repair place today. I may have to wait until next Wednesday to get it looked at though stupid holidays. Still might end up with nothing though as I voided the warranty by opening the case and also by installing other hard drives that I have now taken out. Guess that's how they make their money.
I did find a pretty nasty problem with my computer thanks to google.
Everything after the first format was nothing but a driver problem or it played a big part in it. (The WoW problem may have played a part separate to the pre format though.)
Turns out it wasn't totaling loading the pci things correctly. So when it got load on it went oh crap and crapped its pants. So went all pixely and dead.
Even with all the drivers installed it that was on the MB driver dvd still was missing things. So maybe the MB driver cd was old and didn't contain something that was added in the sandy bridge fix. Bad asus for not giving me the right MB drivers.
Though tomorrow well later on today as its 12.18am will be 1st the first real test day. Only minor stuff shutting down installing av and basic junk. If it stuffs up then it will have to be sent away.
If it passes then will put the hard drives with WoW and that back in it. Then that will be the major test. Passes that then I'll cancel the warranty job thing for now.
Weirdly enough the problem came back. As every-time I say its gone it comes back.
Unless it happens again been 3 days with out the problem now. It's actually support.microsoft.com/kb/2488113 at fault. Every-time I installed that update it seemed to happen 2 shut downs after installing it. No idea why I kept trying to install it. I guess I'm one of those people who thinks all updates provided from Microsoft are good and do no harm.
I was playing wow earlier on got the bunny pet on penguincat. I spent 3 hours collecting the egg things. After that I really wanted a easter egg shame I don't buy the things.
Just about to install wow on my laptop so I didn't miss the event.
I also have a Skype account now its penguincat24.

penguincat is now in the process as becoming a alliance character. Says not to login for a day. I sort of gave up since I'm having problems getting quests to get to 85. Maybe I'll have luck finding ally quests.
I can help you with finding quests, I'll have to double-check the names of them though. Usually at those main boards in town you can get "Hero's Call" quests that will take you to an area for your level.
