Technically early last month Hank Chien beat Weibe's score on Donkey Kong: www.twingalaxies.com/index.aspx?c=22&pi=2&gi=3852&vi=22Everyone recognizes him as the top dog But.....on the MAME scene Dean Saglio has the higher score:http://www.twingalaxies.com/index.aspx?c=22&p=50595 Do they not recognize Dean as the true champion because it wasn't played on an actual cabinet?

Correct. And not to belittle Dean, he's an amazing player, but it's a tad easier playing on MAME with a keyboard. Instant switching of directions by using arrow keys vs actually throwing the arcade stick around.
Dean was in a DK competition once, and actually came in third, due to the fact he's not as good on a cabinet.

I never even noticed that sevenup.
Exactly what I was thinking kefka, throwing the joystick in a direction is more difficult (and more time consuming, even if only by a few milliseconds) than the quick presses of arrow keys.
