...might possibly return... an entire site dedicated to Faxanadu merchandise, collectables, rarities...trying to document and archive EVERY last official item and magazine article/blurb that was ever released for the game and a big section on fan art, fan music, fan remakes, and interesting links and info about the game ------------------- is this anything anyone would be interested in? ?!?!?! respond with: "I'VE USED KEY" for 'Yes!' "THIS IS NOT ENOUGH GOLDS" for 'No, not interested' "DON'T HAVE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS" for 'Whaa..Who cares!?'

it WILL return! (or i guess 'debut' since it never happened in the first place)
4 more weeks of school then the Muu-say-um will kick into full gear: interactive menus, tons of rare stuff, maybe even a forum dedicated to the game! (haha)

Because I can't remember that far back well last week is a problem for me. Hence why I type a-lot of stuff some of it has ended up here. lol I may owe Faxanadu something. I believe it was the first game that had a level up system and magic system that I ever played. Other then its password system that annoyed the pants off me. When you can't write all that great having to put 1 I i ! etc sucked. I do like real time rpg's not a great fan of turn based as standing there being attacked is well unnatural. I don't know the story of how my dad ended up buying Secret of Mana if it was due to him playing Faxanadu or if it was a complete accident. He stopped playing games when the n64 came out he used to use books to guide me though Zelda 64 games but that was about it. So maybe Faxanadu started my love of real time rpg's? I did use a game genie to finish it but not having a save option and limited play time 3 hours on a Sunday after noon kinda was why I needed it. If I could be bothered using a E to play it I wouldn't need it just take me a while. I was just watching youtube videos of it ahhh good times. Not sure how many times I would visit it. I'm sure its cult following would visit it though.

hey penguin this is my (super belated) thanks for that little story you contributed there Yeah, its funny, I can barely remember a time in my life when I wasn't involved in role playing games of some type. For me its like 'which came first, the chicken or the egg,' but with Faxanadu and D&D. I have a few memories from pre-school and around that time, but other then that, in my farthest-back memories that I can recollect, role playing was always present. I don't know if it was playing D&D with Matt when we were like 6 years old with there older brothers and sister, and being like "oh man, this reminds me of Faxanadu!" or if it was buying Faxanadu as a very young kid, and then being like "oh this reminds me of playing D&D!" But I know they were right around the same time; and i was completely changed by both Haha maybe Matt or Chris could help me answer which came first...? Also, this is a game that I have really vivid and great memories of playing with my Mom as a kid; we would always play games together when I was young, but this one I have so many memories of; even going to the store where she helped me pick it out off the ToysRUs wall. (good pick mom!) She passed away about ten years ago now, so that game will always have huge meaning to me, beyond just the game itself So obviously that is one of huge reasons I fell in love with that game- and it was definitely my first exposure to an RPG style video game, and I am thankful everyday for it!
