While playing around on whirlpool forums. I found a 50% of all games sale. I have seen them before. Normally when all the games I wanted were sold out and only meh games remained though. So I thought I'll look anyway.
Holly cookies all I want are still instock!. So I bought New Super Mario Bros Wii $39 * Super Mario Galaxy 2 $38.94 * Nintendogs + Cats Golden Retriever $29.44 + Angry Birds Seasons $9 $6 postage.
I bought angry birds because I'm odd. I can play the free google chrome or facebook versions or any of the iPhone games. If required. Also I missed the show more items box
Prices in other stores. * where still 80$ everywhere even on sale. + prices have been as low as $55. Glad I didn't buy it 3 weeks ago
Its a shame that sold out and removed the other games. My fault for not reading about it yesterday I guess.
Now I have bought all the games I have wanted.
I have all the 3ds games that are worth getting. Wii well same thing xbox 360 I have to get a replacement power adaptor. ps3 doubt I will ever own. Unless I see a heap of games worth getting. I thought about getting pokemon white or black but since they killed off piplup I thought stuff em.
Not really sure on pokemon I have been watching a lets play of white for the last month or so.
This is what I dislike about pokemon white/black, Half the pokemon look disgusting. A few are plain uncreative. eg the Ice cream cone. Too much text in the game. It doesn't have Piplup in it. It has too much grinding as other trainers seem to be way to many levels above you.
What I like. The game itself does look somewhat nice. Doesn't appear money is a problem now. Not sure if the guy did cheat money wise he added in rare candy's can't remember if he tossed them or sold them though.

Hmm interesting. Seems there was a fine print that I missed.
Special Price Offer 1. Offer Ends 29/03/12. Limit 2 games per customer. Sorry no rain checks. 2. Exclusions: Pre-Order Games, Security Software, Business Software, Home & Hobby Software, Educational Software, Graphics & Multimedia Software & Operating Systems. (This offer is for Games Only). 3. Available online only. Not available in-store. 4. Prices displayed are calculated showing 50% discount. Discount is off everyday prices.
Why it didn't show up in the checkout is beyond me?
Also it appears The email I got has nothing under billing address. So yeah I see a 90% chance that I'll end up with nothing.
Seems they were emailing people to say hey change the order. *sigh*
But yeah limit 2 games per customer. Can mean 2 of the same game or order limit of 2 games. Some shops stink with there fine print.

Hi, Thanks for contacting us. Your query has been processed in our system by our customer service team and has been passed onto Neil Burgess, the Franchisee at your local HN. Neil Burgess or a representative from the store will be in contact with you within the next 48 hours to help with your enquiry. In the meantime, if you have any questions for us, you can email Neil Burgess. (I removed all the contact stuff)
Now I am puzzled. I have no idea why a particular store is emailing me. Online orders are meant to be shipped from interstate as I requested delivery not in-store pick up as the store is a bit far way. So yeah I don't understand.
Anyway same forum I looked to find the above sale has another store sale listed next month. "Leaked" prices are $20 for a new DSI $100 for a new xbox 360. I kinda need a new one well just a power supply as mine broke. Games for 50% or more off. If true then I have 2 stores local to me to look at as well as online. (chances are their site will crash has before on some sales.)
I missed the other sales store but apparently a-lot of store staff bought stuff before they opened (so was slim pickings for anyone who went). A few very suspect eBay listings have appeared.
But yeah nothing as of yet. Seems not everyone who bought more then 2 games was told to redo their order. So who knows.
Edit. I just got a call from the store about my order. My particular store will be sending all 4 games out to me. Only thing behind the delay is some games I wanted aren't in stock. Seem I should get them after Easter (10th.) As long as I get them I guess.

Well I guess the guy on the phone was talking crap.
I ended up with all 4 games today. The dog just woke me up. I originally thought well that's my thing that I paid for 2 weeks ago. Went out and looked at the box oh my games. Which made me grrr as where is my other thing as its now over due.
I'm half thinking of ordering some pre owned games that are on sale now. $14 for pokemon dungeon explorers as well as the ds nintendogs that I have wanted but never liked the price of. So 3 games for 42$. Most of my handheld games are pre owned. I'm just a little bit worried as Id like to see the game before buying it specially after buying a pirate handheld game from a actual game store. I'll only buy console games from eBay now. A-lot harder to pirate them.
But yeah the other order was made on the 20/3 Expected postage time is 3 days. When I contacted them a week ago it still hasn't been sent yet been marked as sent. Oh sorry I'll send it today, was the message I got from them last week. If I don't get it today and they have infact sent it when they said they would then id put the rate at below 20% that I'll actually get it. There is no delay because of Easter parcels like xmas at time. I just read the persons facebook page seems I'm not the only one wondering where their orders are. But this order kinda screwed a week up as I had no money for food. So to not get it is going to make penguincat super crabby.
