I did my test stream I didn't use my mic because well no one was there and the recording gets deleted with in 7 days. Was only a public test for now. Once I get the bugs worked out it will have me talking on it.
After watching it these are the things I thought that needed to be done.
1. Better quality video I'll see what changes I can make. 2. Sound quality needs to be higher. Which is really easy to change as I had it on the 4th lowest setting. Higher bit rate and it should be peachy.
So anything else I need to change? Anyone use xsplit that can give me optimal settings for a 2.3mbit connection. One that actually allows me to upload it that high would be nice lol. Normally its 1.2mbit which was my old connection speed
Provided I am awake between the hours of 9pm and 5am for the rest of the week I'll do another test or more a day. Post the recorded videos here and on twitter to see what people think. Maybe even youtube if I'm really happy with them
Terraria. I finally learnt how to play it. Apparently its boring as single player yet I have managed to get 51hours or more out of it I guess I like boring things. It is a bad play time to be up to where I am I believe lol. 1 more boss in easy mode to go. But since I don't really like the idea of hard mode I just run around lost. I may do a boss fight or 2 next not the last one that I haven't done as I have no clue how to kill it.
I may start test 2 in the next few minutes. I have attempted to change a couple of things. Video quality was put up and sound should be a higher bit rate as well as mode.
www.twitch.tv/penguincat25/b/308544868 Video seems better though I did accidentally resize the game while playing it which made it look funny. I had the video set to 720p this time too see what it can handle. Was annoyed at some points though. But maybe a tweek in the speed may improve it or break it lol Actual Video shows me killing 2 bosses I did kill the first boss again at the end because well I wanted about 10mins of video. I'm a-lot more powerful then the first time you are meant to fight both of them.
Sound seems better/near perfect. Again only a test and a 7 day up time before its deleted. Anyone got any comments on this one?
New notes. I found My connection should be able to handle 720P decent audio rate as well so the upgrade I did did work and I should have left over upload bandwidth remaining. For maybe skype calls or something. I really should buy a newer video card so some of the things said. Since I'm not a mad keen new game player I should be fine though.
Also It seems I have a fan. Someone is following me on twitch lol

I've been watching alot of Triplespeedrunners streams. It's given me the streaming bug again.
I had a go with xsplit over the weeekend. Man it was crumby. Some reason it wasn't connecting to twitch/justin tv decently enough. I went and asked tsr what bit rate they used. They said they had a limit of 0.9mbit upload and could only stream in 480p. I was like what the cookies? I thought it was like 720p or something as they always did nice looking streams so when it was that low I first thought. Why on earth did I upgrade my connection for my meh previous speed would have been enough? Xsplit was also only steaming at 1300kbit only 100kbit more then my old speed. By complete accident I found a tool to use to get a better connection. After a bit of being confused setting it up I ended up getting it working ~2300kbit. Which is enough for 720p low-medium grade I think. Provided I don't play super high movement games should be fine. The highest graphical game I currently plan on streaming is a iPhone game. I should be fine and stuff I think.
Just jumped on to check out some of your stream settings... Your Terraria video turned out very good with great volume and everything! The Zelda ones are a bit quiet comparitively but other than that it's all looking good!
EBchamp: Its just a pre recorded video so you can watch it whenever and stuff. Still running tests so they will just be recorded videos that I post.
miyagi513: Yeah I put the sound down in the zelda video. Normally the sound is on full but people only seem to like minimal game sound. Well peoples streams and that I watch have the game down. Maybe better if/when I'm talking. But I'll put the sound up next test stream I do. I am going to try and read the zelda text while playing it which should be fun. Random events and text lol.
But what gets me though is the Terraria video shouldn't be watch-able. I don't think it was a new version problem with xsplit but it only allows videos to be sent at 1300kbits and the video is in 720p. So should be a mess. Should be like the zelda video I attempted a week or so ago where it ended up dropping out every 18 seconds. That's when I found the known problem and I found the helper program that allowed me to use 2200kbit.

Also see if there is a way to not sound like such a kid/girl/horrible. If you want to hear what I sound like send me a message on twitter and I'll send you A DM of a voice recording test I did. I uploaded it to youtube and have it hidden.
