A couple of nights ago I was looking for games on eBay. (I'm not lucky enough to have flea markets. ) New super mario bros wii Super paper mario. Paper mario 1000 years door. I found them bookmarked 2 of them. I felt uneasy about buying them. Because I had a feeling yesterday was going to be a weird day. Well I was right lol. So tonight I check the bookmarks 1000 years door had sold. Total was 51$ including postage. Ebay prices here are horrible. 75$-99$ for it with out postage. Even people are importing it at cheap then whacking on a extra $'s. I ended up buying Super paper mario for 38$ including postage (was marked as new). Local game store has it for 50$ used and 98$ new. Great price for a 4 year old game huh. I lost the link to the 3rd game but seems it was sold anyway. I just don't have the reference on how much its worth. So now I have to wait and see if more come on for cheap. I hate waiting.

I had a look on Game.co.uk. Seems I missed out of a 75% off sale that had super paper mario for 22$ delivered. I wonder if the copy I bought was sold by Game during the sale and then had money whacked onto it. After checking amazon.co.uk seems the prices on ebay for paper mario 1000 doors and New super mario wii. Are the normal price so means any cheapies will be hard to come by. We aren't lucky enough to get cheap games here. new release game prices. Ps3 and xbox 360 ~120$ Wii is 100$ Nindendo ds normal price is 70$ but were 80$ chrono trigger and final fantasy III were 80$ 3ds games prices are 80$ but would say some will be 90$ Current system prices new PS3 400$-600$ Xbox 360 300$-500$ Wii 300$ (though its on sale atm for 190$) DS lite 180$ 3DS 349$ After it has been out for a few years (the end of the consoles life cycle) there might be a 20$ discount on a game in some shops. Or a sale week which might have it at a sort of nice price rare and few between for anything that's good though. Other then the 3ds having region lock Id be get a 3ds from the US. But region lock means having to get someone to buy and send me out games. Not everyone in the US likes selling stuff to people overseas. The mail forwarding groups charge too much 20% of the items cost + 15$ + whatever postage.

I wanted to ask you, do all of the systems have region lock? Honestly, for those insane prices, I would probably be willing to pick up games for you and send them over to you to save you some money.

All consoles have region locking even the NES does. Just have to find and break off a chip on the board to by pass it. lol
Only Nintendo handhelds up to the DS lite don't have region locking. DSI DSIxl and 3ds all have region locking. Most pirated games are for handhelds so it was only a matter of time before they made more inbuilt security for them.

Nice to offer EBchamp. Be way too annoying having to get things chipped or finding power converters. (I found a power converter on ebay looks like a house cooker to me.) Not allowed to advertise chipping services so its only for friends of friends. It actually was legal to get consoles chipped for a month. (Some guy showed that his chipping was done so people could import games to play.) Sony on behalf of themselves, Nintendo and Microsoft appealed and got the ruling over turned. Stating that it unlocked them so people could play pirated games. Which the guy admitted yeah it does that as well so lost. There was a rush on trying to make chips that didn't allow for pirated games to be played but they ended up giving up.
I find it weird we are not allowed to have region locking in DVD/blu ray players. DVD and Blu ray players on original release had the ability to change region codes 5 times. On the 5th change it would remain whatever that code was permanently. Yet game consoles can be region locked. Video game laws are quite stupid here.
Was talk that Microsoft and Sony would allow the 360 and Ps3 to be region free for Australia and New Zealand. But like most things never happened. Guess they found a loophole or someone told them not too.

No problem! My favorite region lock is on the SNES, just those two little clips that you can cut and then you're good to go haha

Well I now have super paper mario gamecube. Post office had it for over a week I wonder if they finished it lol. Maybe that was why they never told me they had it, they wanted to finish it first.
New super mario bros wii to go. Not sure when I'll get around to buying it though. Though I do need to find something for a birthday present to myself next month. I wonder if I'll end up with a cat tea towel this year.

I already have enough pictures of kittens though. It makes me unhappy as I can't own a cat. So I spent 170$ on a pet bird which I called Piplup. Reason why is something to do with the dog now. Originally was that they needed kitty litter. Person who complained said it was like walking on broken glass. That's why I want someone who knows how to draw to draw me pictures of Yoshi, Piplup or Red pandas. I will pay for them anyone who can draw.
