If someone asked you for a game recommendation based on what you play, what would you answer and why? this is just something i was wondering about since im curious what games you guys play and enjoy the most and why you consider it fun, enjoyable, ect.

i have been recommending games to a friend of mine lately.
Some of the games i have suggested are Red Dead Redemption, Vanquish, Mortal Kombat, and Batman Arkham Asylum.
I mentioned them to him because in my experience with them, they blew me away. I found them to be true top tier AAA games.
ATM i am playing Portal 2, but thats just out of curiosity. Also playing MK, ive been a long time fan.\ and this is the best iteration ive ever played. Also playing GT5...love racing games.
My thing is i am tending to only play top tier games lately. Its weird but with this gen im so critical.

*points to his avatar cause he forgot to post what game he'd recommend* just cause of the numerous retro games easter eggs in it

Just realized that I have another answer as well. It's a game that I really, really want to do a youtube special on (if I ever have the time / motivation...). I'll get into my history with the game there and then, but anyway... Out of this World for pretty much any old computer or the Genesis or SNES (the version I grew up with). If you haven't ever played this do yourself a serious favor and do so. It's the most atmospheric game ever, and conveys so much with so little. Classic, and one of my favorite (if not my favorite period) games ever!
