Well...Oh Hello there! I'm just thinking of what games you have played first when you were as little as the Barbie dolls that were having a good time with Ken.(Ok this makes no sense whatsoever but who cares?) So in whatever style,or on console which game do you remember playing first and loved(or still love)?
As for me it's a little complicated since the f**king communist dictatorship prevented a whole bunch of stuff coming into my country,I've only owned 3 video game consoles yet. A fake Chinese NES-ish thing with controllers that were so unreliable you could trust Osama Bin Laden better. As for this console I loved Super Mario Bros. and Mach Rider. Then came a PS1 oooh this is what makes me nervous...almost 20 years of history got scrapped by the communists, and most people STILL don't know sh*t about these stuff here! Some of them says the PS was released in 1980 and stuff like that!Ok...gotta calm down...actually I belong to a minority here because I play "stupid old games".Oh for the PS1?I loved and still my favourite platformer series is Crash Bandicoot(who sucks nowadays) I've been playing those games since I was like 4,or 5. And I had a PS2 but now it's broken. As for that console I had every Crash Bandicoot game ever released, but I've lost hope of getting a good ol' Crash game again,so I should say my favourite game on that is Need For Speed Most Wanted, which in my opinion is the best NFS game out there. And ow did I mention I'm getting a NES myself this week? The grey frontloader which's controllers don't suck ass and it's cool? When I get it I'll send some pic of the dear Anyway, now what about you...?

I was born and raised a Nintendo fan, so all of my memories from my childhood are of NES & SNES.
One of the first games that comes to mind is Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES. We used to play this game all the time and I think it may be the best Mario game (although I've never beaten Mario Galaxy 1 & never played Galaxy 2, which I hear is an amazing Mario game).
Another game that I remember playing is Final Fantasy 6 (SNES), but we of course knew it as 3 in the US. This would be rated the best Final Fantasy game IMO, with Final Fantasy 4 (SNES) following close behind it. Mike & I beat this game one morning using 2 players (we each controlled different characters) when we were kids. It was such an epic boss battle at the end, still a great memory.
The last game I will go into detail about is Pokemon Red/Yellow. I mention both of these because I originally played Pokemon Red and loved it. I couldn't believe the amount of Pokemon that were available in the game to catch and level. Almost everything about Pokemon amazed me; it was so revolutionary to me. I got Pokemon Yellow for Christmas one year with the yellow GBC and the strategy guide, which is why I put both Red & Yellow on here. I have some great memories of Pokemon Yellow, even though it wasn't a ton different from Red.
I'm not going to go into detail since I talk about this game too much, but the final game I will mention is Earthbound (SNES). I think most people know my standpoint on this game. So many memories, an incredible game, best game ever IMO. Play it if you get a chance!

I'm really fuzzy on the first game I've EVER played... But I can kind of remember the first FEW.
One of my fondest memories of gaming is playing Harvest Moon on my GameBoy Advance. (Not the SP one; the large clumsy rectangular one.) But I sincerely doubt that that was the first game I've ever played.
I also remember, when I was really young, walking into GameStop with my dad and spotting a demo PlayStation. The demo game was Spyro. I just played around with it a bit, and at the time, I thought it was the best game ever. XD
Also, agreeing with Chris, Red and Yellow were ones that I played looong ago. (I remember getting stuck on Yellow because of stupid Brock and eventually giving up. I didn't even beat the first gym leader. XD)

I fondly remember the first game I played. It was Christmas and I was given a Nintendo 64 with a couple of games. The games it came with were a used (and 100% completed) version on SM64, DK64, Mario Kart 64, which I have fond memories of playing with my dad, whose not much of a gamer, and Mario Tennis. I loved and cherished each of those games.
Growing up I also had a GameBoy Color, and the games I remember playing on that were Pokemon Blue, Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, and Mario Tennis.

First game I ever played...? Hmmm... The first that I can remember goes back to the NES. I remember playing Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt on Christmas morning one year. Duck Hunt in particular always stuck out in my mind; I just wanted to beat my dad's high score so bad. The NES zapper is still amazing to me...

I remember the NES was the first system I had. I was around 3 or 4 in the late 80s and I remember my brother playing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it being so freaking difficult. I thought as I got older the game would be easier, but that's a negative on that. But I remember we always had a hard time getting past the electrical seaweed, and I remember falling asleep on the couch one day and waking up and he had some how got past it. It was a freaking miracle. Oh, and I also remember Bionic Commando

Mine would have been super mario bros. I remember at age 3 or 4 going into my parents room and playing it. I remember my pj's and there is a picture of me in them around 3 - 4 years old. We where given the nes to borrow and the mario and dunk hunt cartage but not the gun thing. So yeah I was stuck playing mario bros. We did get the gun at one stage but I don't ever remember playing duck hunt. I was just thinking that would mean we didn't get zelda 1 and 2 until 1990. Which is odd that they were still 100$ the game boxes still has the price tag on them lol. Also they do cost 100$ for games here
